Patisseriecyclisme

Latest news:

As a result of the popularity of Patisserie Cyclisme we will shortly be moving to www.patisseriecyclisme.co.uk . This is really exciting as it means the site can be developed even further now to make it easier for you to use as well as developing as a business for the future. I would personally like to thank Dan O'Hara and Andy Saunders for their support so far in the project and all of you who have submitted reviews, used the site and shown your support in the development of the venture.

Thanks

Well hello there and welcome to the site. Everyone who cycles understands that at the very heart of our dear beloved sport/obsession are the fundamental components of coffee and cake. For many cafe stops are an integral part of the life of a cyclist, it not only gives the weary legs a break but after burning oh so many calories we can top up with cake and chat technical stuff or the pro scene and be generally social.

Over the last few months I have got to know lots of fantastic cyclists from all around the country, we all share a love of the bike but also the cake and the coffee, so I thought it might be good to pool ideas, reviews, routes and good tech services and shops on Posterous as it's a great platform. Twitter is great but here we can add more in depth info, cakes and hopefully plot an interactive map along the way.

The main aim of this site is to encourage the cycling community (ie you) to contribute your reviews, both good and bad, from the UK and beyond. We also welcome any ideas and assistance so please get in touch with any comments or ideas.  You can either comment here or find me on Twitter as @patisseriecyc or email patisseriecyclisme@gmail.com We also have a Facebook page here
